No gaps or overlapsInterior ranges are $0.25 wide, lower bound inclusive and upper bound exclusive, with tails covering every possible close.

One wallet, one rangeMultiple finalized range entries from one wallet disqualify that wallet for the round with a public reason.
Commitment protocol

CanonicalizeSort public finalized range-entry records by immutable ID and serialize wallet, range, transaction, timestamps, and status.

Commit at lockHash the versioned canonical dataset with a cryptographically random 32-byte salt.

Reveal after settlementPublish the dataset and salt so anyone can recompute SHA-256 and detect inserted or changed entries.
Settlement rules
The official regular-session SPY close from the configured licensed market-data source selects the single range containing that close. If data providers disagree beyond tolerance, the round enters SETTLEMENT_REVIEW. No close price is fabricated.
